It should be a part of every Christian’s practice to dwell on heaven, to revel in the glory of what creation is and through even its failings consider what God has planned in what will one day be.
Think of the taste you most enjoy, the texture of the most pleasant fruit or the delight in the first sip of good drink. Recall the initial glimpse of your favorite landscape, the joy of uplifting music, a smell that took your breath away. Think of the many combinations of all of the above, the times when the perfect food mixed with just the right music at that precise place where you were happy. And remember the people who are most dear to you, who were there with you.
Remember the first time you felt God’s presence.
And that’s just here on earth. No matter how today was or what tomorrow looks like, our eyes are fixed on heaven – where even the greatest of joys we know here will be magnified beyond our imagining.
Happy Lent!

Hard not to be happy after hearing that – Great choice! Was not expecting to hear “Lord of the Dance” tossed in there on the piano.
