Understanding the Roman Missal, version 3

This weekend, we finalized our parishes’ move into the new translation of the Gloria, the Sanctus and the Memorial Acclamation. As a pastor, I am enormously proud of my congregations enthusiasm and trust in embracing these new changes. We had a wonderful practice before Mass singing the new Gloria. Its amazing how smoothly this went. One part down!

As all of us in the English-speaking world continue to prepare for the full switch to the new Roman Missal and its translation, I want to share with you this video from the Diocese of Phoenix. The speaker, Father John Muir, was an upper-classman when I entered seminary.
